BASIC INFO:

These dogs are not your average everyday house pet. They are high driven in all aspects of their life with super intensity in whatever you ask them to do and they want to do it in order to please you. These dogs enjoy work and do so with high enthusiasm. Our dogs are potential police patrol dogs for apprehension, narcotics, explosives and search and rescue plus are approachable by strangers. The dog's are usually from Hungary, Germany, Holland, or Chez.

PERSONALITY:

Possessing a very "up" personality wanting to please is a priority. They must be able to pass the following tests and are very social when no threatening situation is being presented: have good ball drive, have a strong desire to play and please (not only a normal or mild desire), have an intense desire to hunt/search for hidden object (ball/toy) with high scratch drive, and do true tracking.

BITE WORK:

Test is done on regular sleeve and hidden sleeve (occasionally body suit). They have good civil drive as well as prey drive, are confident under stick threat, 9MM gun fire, have done bite work inside a building besides outside in a field, plus will search for - find - and bite helper (or decoy) in buildings and in the woods. They have no problems traveling in car or working on slick floors (vinyl, ceramic, etc.). If the dog has any problems that need to be worked on we will tell you ahead of time. The dog cannot be animal aggressive or fearful of heights. The dog must know how and where to bite plus stay on the bite. The dog will not necessarily know the word "out" or letting loose of the sleeve on command. We have dogs that are green, started, trained or titled.

WORKABILITY:

The dog should have a very high ball drive. Will retrieve wood, metal, plastic, and will stretch up a tree or clime rubble to retrieve articles, likes to play rough, civil, strong hunt drive, good hard courage. not afraid of stick hits or whip snapping. The dogs are agile, fast responding and will jump on top of or into large objects.

APPEARANCE:

Unless otherwise requested, the dogs are male German Shepherds or Belgium Malinois, with normal coat length, erect ears, two testicles, no broken teeth, normal tight feet, good  strong pasterns with good hips and elbows. The dogs are good looking, powerful, and very confident looking, between 68 and 95 pounds. If the dog is solid black or sable, it will be noted.
